made a half scale model of a coat i liked my design of. the half scale coat turned out quite well i think, i was happy i managed to get it all done in one day. finally my motivation for work is coming back. workshpos really helped as there was a nice portion of pressure to make me do it!
also did half of a full-size jacket during our moulage workshop. my design was difficult to moulage interestingly, for this jacket it wasnt the best way of making the pattern for it as the half scale flat pattern worked fine. moulage itself isnt as complicated as it seemed though. helpful but not for this particular project for me.
Helped Sally with button holes and buttons this week. met some more third years and managed to get out pattern cutting for her! her stuff is so precise i wouldnt want to mess up her patterns. i like seeing how she works, her motivation for her own work is evident and im very jealous!
