Hand in time..! miraculously i managed to make my garment fit together?! putting 2 layers of quilting fabric through my sewing machine as a princess seam was a little challenging! but by using the pattern from my previous design realisation (i think?) project, i found my patterns from that which helped alot for my bodice. i made up the skirt pattern which looks like a pac-man in the end.. but it worked! yesss. i think this is one of my best final pieces this year, it actually looks like my design and my fabric i created worked alot better than i thought it would. the rip-stop nylon proved a little difficult to use as it was slippy, and 2 layers of it with some wadding type stuff in the middle was hard to control sometimes but i think the final product was worth it! i managed to sew a few peices to themselves during this project which stressed me out but otherwise making this garment was surprisingly stress free?! its a bit tight, i think the blocks lie about being a size 12, but i managed to get it on so i know it fits a person at least!

Now its time for the final design sheet and illustration! my design sheet was a bit ropey but i half-like my illustration. i dont think its my best but i havent drawn for ages so its alright! not sure how fashiony it is?! but then, how do you measure that? binding worked well with my rip-stop nylon aswell, managed to fit all my stuff into 2 bound books, i think overall this project went pretty well!!
got my fashion, art and culture mark back.. no idea how that happened! 75% and i thought it was easily my worst project this year. not including critical studies! really happy with that mark but also very shocked ha.
now its time to get on with my presentation.. uhho!
