October some more.

ELECTIVE?

ELECTIVES ARE TO CHOOSE FROM, NOT CHOSEN FOR YOU.
I didnt particularly want to do jewellery again. but it looks like i am. At the end of a huge brief aswell. Fabulous timing there. I need to start the research.

First business presentation, had a supremely unsuccessful business meeting over the weekend. i think banking my face against a brick wall wouldve been more productive. Last minute job as trying to get the hungover parts of my group to actually turn up to a scheduled meeting is impossible. People not wanting to work are really staring to piss me off.

CDG project is coming along good for me, as a group it is rather difficult though. The collections are coming together and i think the use of the colour purple to tie our work together was a very good shout. At least we can keep some continuity without actually having to chase up group members all the time. Its so tedious. Especially when a phone and facebook dont seem to be working for them.
So far no reply on the paperscissorstone email, Ollie said work experience should be fine, just need to sort out dates.
Styling ideas sorted, garments toiled and started being made. We were all meant to create a simple garment in 3 days but i think weve all pushed ourselves in trying to create exciting and unnusual garemtns for styling and photographing rather than something easy and, possibly, dull. Illustrations under-way aswell. Busy busy.

PHOTOSHOOT SORTED.

Made a nice contact during my first couple of weeks back up north, back in the days where i actually still went out! Met Dom Dodd at a mask themed club night and he told me was a glamour photographer. I didnt believe him.. and now here he is replacing Ed for me and doing my photoshoots. Useful friend! Jay Maude helped with the lighting as i have no idea how to use the studio technically!

The shoot went really well, parts of my group didnt turn up and Angie said it was unproffessional to model your own collection.. a fair point but finding people to actually model your stuff (especially when youre in the avant garde pathway) is insanely difficult. I modelled our collection and Katherine's Mui Mui collection during the same shoot. As a proof of doing it we recorded it and i spent time down in the Mac dungeon getting to grips with cut pro. A programme i havent used since foundation! (Tried to upload the video but it didnt work!)

Helped Mendham and Georgy out with a shoot at the weekend aswell, shoudlnt really add more work to my list but as i said before, willing models are difficult to come by. Not the most successful shoot, took over an hour and a half to get to this old railway station, as it was a sunday it was full of tourists, it was FREEZING, a bit rainy and none of them knew what sort of feel or poses they wanted from it. I dislike directing other peoples shoots, i get bossy and people get irritated.
